Blade sharpener QIXX

QIXX® is a unit for sharpening and deburing of knives. It works astonishingly simple and handy and activates almost every blade reliably and gentle. By doing so, the blade is pulled between two combs of hard metal.

The hard metal combs are kept together by magnetic force. This magnetic force keeps dust and shavings well away, so that these can not reach the cutting good.

As the geometry on the blade sharpened by QIXX® does not change anymore only little shavings will remain by further sharpening. The durability of the blade is increased and the intervals of resharpening are longer. The wear of the blade is reduced to a minimum.

If the hard metal combs are moved away from each other it is a signal that unnecessary high pressure was applied.

QIXX® is of course also constructed for application in hygienic areas. Cleaning and desinfection are to be carried out according to the valid hygiene directives.

QIXX® is offered as a pneumatic table unit for use outside hygienic areas and mainly for sharpening larger cutting tools.
